The table in the single room is convenient, the location is good, walking to Akihabara and Ueno is pretty fast. I often get woken up by the cleaning lady when sleeping later; if I lock the door she will just hang up the laundry. Cleaning time is from 10 am to 3 pm, so missing the morning cleaning means today’s cleaning will be skipped. Also the washing machine and dryer on the second floor are problematic: the washing machine only runs 30 minutes and feels unclean, and you can’t pay double to extend to 1 hour; the dryer runs twice (30 minutes each) and the clothes never dry.

“Gran ubicación”

The hotel’s spot is great, linking to several metro and train stops nearby. The room fits a solo traveler perfectly, and you can opt for breakfast which is really good. They also serve coffee in the afternoon. The only downside was a smell in the bathroom and on the carpet, but it was bearable in the end.

The front‑desk staff were friendly, the area around the hotel is convenient, and this was my second stay. The bed this time wasn’t great; turning over made the bed frame creak.

Clean. The sink water doesn’t flow well, and I wish they’d offer better shampoo and the like.
