“Na recepcji warto znać więcej niż jeden język”

Quiet surroundings, generally clean and without major inconveniences. The hotel is well connected for someone who wants to rest at night and explore Paris during the day. Before arrival, when I called, I heard that if you call France you should speak French. Later, the concern that only one language is acceptable—FRENCH—was confirmed. It’s a bit poor for a hotel reception.

“A éviter autant que possible”

Not much to remember except the location in the 14th; otherwise I see nothing. Yet, it often happens in Paris that 2* hotels are very correct. It’s noisy, cleanliness is just acceptable. Check the amenities carefully (for example, I had to ask the front desk for toilet paper on arrival). The night watchman is… at best, unsuitable for staying correct.

“Good enough for Paris”

I liked the location, fast check‑in, staff responsiveness, and room cleaning. Minor drawbacks that don’t affect a single man’s two‑day trip much.
