The Standard Single Room offers a small double bed and a crib, accommodating one guest. An en‑suite bathroom provides linens, toilet paper, a bathtub or shower, free toiletries, a hairdryer and ironing facilities. Climate control includes air‑conditioning, a fan and heating, while a desk, radio, socket by the bed, carpeted floor and a selection of books, DVDs or music for children add convenience.

The staff were friendly.
“Great, just the job.”
Breakfast was excellent, rooms were superb, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, but the shower area outside the bottom ledge needed a thorough clean—there was a lot of dust and grime, though both rooms were otherwise very clean.
The pub was fabulous and full of character, the room was big with comfy beds, and the breakfast was exceptional.

A great stopover for our trip to Cornwall; we used it several times and would highly recommend it. The rooms were away from the pub and breakfast was very good, though there isn’t much else in the village—everything is at the pub.

Check‑in was easy, the staff were very friendly and attentive, breakfast was good, and we had an evening meal on the day of arrival that was very good. Everything was OK.
