The hotel sits right above Schladming, so the Dachstein panoramas are truly spectacular. Unfortunately the room we were given bore little resemblance to the pictures – it felt more like a dated apartment with cheap furniture, a shared entry hall and a plain shower, far from the “Boutique” label they use. The pool area was also shared with dinner service, and the nearby family guesthouse added unwanted noise, which made us decide to leave early.

“Beautiful, modern and well located little hotel with nice wellness and view of the mountains”

The spot is perfect for hiking, with a spacious pool, comfy beds and a breakfast that serves fresh eggs right to your table while you watch the Dachstein range. The only hiccup was being told the outdoor sauna closed around 7 pm, which threw off our schedule even though it stayed open later; the rooms themselves are a bit plain and would benefit from a fridge. We also heard a low‑level hum from a neighbor’s AC at night, but that’s clearly out of the hotel’s control.

“Super, gemütlich, mega freundlich und man fühlt sich wohl!”

This hotel impresses with its cozy, stylish vibe, three indoor and outdoor saunas, an outdoor pool and a well‑equipped gym, plus a dining area that looks both tasteful and modern. The view of the Dachstein mountains is unbeatable, and the breakfast buffet and evening menu are top‑notch for the price. While everything is spotless, the rooms could do with a refresh – it’s more a matter of personal taste than a serious flaw.

The hosts are genuinely friendly, and the breakfast spread is huge, offering plenty of options to start the day. When we asked for a dinner in the garden, they arranged it without any fuss, making the evening feel special. Overall, a pleasant and welcoming experience.

“Kleines, stylisches Hotel. - auch gut zum Entspannen im Sommer”

The outdoor area is beautiful, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff are warm and helpful throughout the stay. However, we were shocked to see an extra €90 charge for our three‑year‑old daughter, which felt completely unreasonable. That unexpected fee tarnished an otherwise great experience.
