Sofia and her husband treated me with great respect. The cabin sits south of Guia de Isora, the garden is beautiful and it was very quiet there, which I really enjoyed. There was a parking spot inside the property, so the car was fully protected by a locked gate. It was very cold in January, and since only the bedroom had air‑conditioning, Sofia and her husband added a heater in the kitchen, which made the place feel much more homey. Everything was clean, and fresh sheets and towels were provided. A radiator was also supplied for the bathroom upon request. I was not aware that the bathroom and toilet were outside the cabin (about 10 m diagonally opposite), which dampened my enjoyment a bit, but overall the positives outweighed this. The cabin faces north, was damp (at least for us tourists), and there was no sun in December.
