The lodge is on a steep street that’s hard to walk, so you need a car; there’s parking, the facilities are adequate, the breakfast is good, the room is clean and the bed very comfortable. Overall it’s very good. Note that Ouro Preto isn’t ideal for 60+ because of the city’s ups and downs.

“Hotel ótimo. Recomendo.”

The hotel is well maintained, comfy, with attentive staff and a great breakfast and parking—an advantage in Ouro Preto. I think the café should offer a wider range of items.

The bed is comfy, breakfast is excellent, and the location is great. At check‑in we had to wait almost half an hour for a car that was blocking the parking entrance. They also offered a “jardineira” tour for the next day, but the details were unclear— they said it would last 3–4 hours, it actually lasted 5, and they didn’t mention that it included a lunch stop or the costs at each attraction, so the tour’s quality and organization were lacking.

“Ótima escolha”

The room was spacious, clean, and the bathroom was tidy; the staff were helpful. Everything else was great.
