“Besonderes Erlebnis für Kurzaufenthalt”
It was a special experience with a treehouse vibe. All the activities you’d want to do in the national park could be booked reliably at the reception for a local price‑performance ratio, and we had great guides. The big bed had a firm mattress (we like firm mattresses, but it might be too hard for others). The AC worked and wasn’t too loud. The walk to the village was short. Cash payment is recommended, otherwise a usual 3.5‑5 % surcharge on credit card payments. I didn’t expect a very natural resort; everything has a bit of Disneyland character. The treehouses, for example, sit on tree platforms, but that’s fine and visible in the photos. The room fits. The bathroom is very simple, though spacious, and the water pressure is almost non‑existent. Breakfast is okay; you can even have fresh egg dishes prepared. Some guests find the buffet borderline, and the staff doesn’t fix it. The reception staff are very helpful and speak good English. The rest of the staff seemed demotivated and less friendly, perhaps due to the off‑season. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar are only open until 9 p.m.; after that, you have to run to the village for a bottle of water.
