Good location and view. It wasn’t the cleanest hotel ever, but that’s fair enough.

Very well located by the Mekong and the room was spacious. Reception staff were not very pleasant, they struggled to use Google Translate and told us they hadn’t received our reservation and that no room matched our request.

Close to the Mekong and its terrace restaurants (partial view of the Mekong from the rooms, blocked by large trees). Comfortable bedding. The glass bay doesn’t lock and the window closes poorly, letting in mosquitoes and smoke from burning trash. No hot water (boiler not working). There is a kettle but no cups, coffee or tea. It gets noisy at night because the nearby Chinese restaurant plays loud music until 23:30. Staff are barely friendly and speak no English (the hotel is run by Chinese). Finally, despite the price advertised in dollars on Booking, dollars were rejected with a conversion rate of 23,000 kip per dollar, while the rate was 21,500… plus a 100,000 kip security deposit! Plan to bring plenty of kip, coffee or tea, and anti‑mosquito spray.

Location, balcony with Mekong view. Very basic, hardly any storage, dirty, shower not separated so everything gets wet after showering. Sad room.
