Five stars for the hospitality alone! The host is exceptionally kind and gave us a free local tour of Aswan. He's friendly and honest unlike many people in the area. The shower isn’t the best and breakfast isn’t perfectly on time, but it’s customized to your needs and honestly much better than what you would expect for this price!

The young owner ran a very pretty Nubian house with beautiful colours, and it was wonderful.

The place was lovely, well maintained and clean, and the bed in our room was the most comfortable we had slept on during our whole trip to Egypt. Breakfast came free with the stay, served on the rooftop overlooking the Nile. Abdo and his team were very nice, arranged our Abu Simbel tour, and offered to pick up items from town for us; the spot is not central but in a peaceful neighbourhood. Supporting a local Nubian business was a pleasure, and I’d definitely return. The shower didn’t drain properly and leaked a little, but it wasn’t a major issue.
