They didn't provide breakfast, and the room looked old and unhygienic.

The reception was friendly even late at night, the shower was adequate, the air conditioning worked, and the access was simple, but the decor felt a bit dated and the vibe a bit neglected; we had to wake the staff in the morning to ask for our departure time.

Kolkata's a great spot to break up a trip to India, and this hotel's a solid choice for a couple of nights. The staff are really friendly, and Sudder street's a hub of interesting characters.
