The gîte was charming and allowed pets. The stairs to the room were very steep, and it was disappointing that the tea and coffee tins were empty.

“Absolutely perfect French Cottage in the Countryside”

Loved the sweet cottage we stayed in. Washroom facilities were excellent. The kitchen was more of a kitchenette style with a dorm sized fridge but was completely adequate for us. Parking was great. The location was so perfect to experience the French countryside & really be a part of the local villages. We traveled hundreds of miles and every village was lovely. The Fantastic Bonus was we were able to cuddle their beautiful furbabies each day. We love dogs, and so this was a wonderful pleasant surprise. However, the dogs were very much contained to the host and did not bother us in any way .If you are not a dog person, you probably will not even realize the dogs are there other than an occasional bark. Be advised that if anyone in your party has mobility issues, the stairs to the upper loft are extremely narrow and vertical. They are more of a bunk bed ladder than an actual set of stairs. We found we had to go up-and-down backward so that we felt secure in both directions. If you have 0 mobility issues, then it should not be any kind of issue but if there's anyone with knee, back pr weight issues and climbing ladders is out of the question, I would not advise this particular accommodation. I am 55 & my aunt is 71, and we did just fine, but we both are gym rats. :)

We didn’t like this place at all. The accommodation didn’t fit our needs, there was too little toilet paper, the hosts were unresponsive, breakfast was incomplete, the setup was chaotic and impractical, and there was a musty smell.

“Un logement cosy dans un environnement de rêve”

Breakfast came with homemade jams, and bike rides were convenient for the nearby beach. The hosts were kind during the welcome, and the peace and countryside close to the sea were lovely. On the tiny house’s upper floor, the ceiling is too low to walk, and the windows lack blinds, so the sun wakes me up.
