The private room we booked was roomy, equipped with a hot shower and a mini‑fridge, and the whole place has a fresh, nicely decorated vibe after its recent renovation. Its spot in Nazaré is unbeatable – just a stone’s throw from the Basilica and within easy walking distance of most of the city’s attractions. The hostel was spotless, the simple breakfast surprisingly tasty, and both Sandra and Almerinda were incredibly attentive throughout our stay.[/BODY]

Sandra, the host, made the place feel like staying with family – the house‑turned‑hostel is cozy, the common areas are welcoming, and the air‑conditioning works wonders in the heat. Breakfast was a solid spread and the location is handy, with a grocery, a church, an ice‑cream shop, a fast‑food joint and a park all right next door.

The spot is great and the staff were really helpful, making it easy to get around the city. Unfortunately, there weren’t enough bathrooms for the number of guests, and we spent two days dealing with water supply problems.[/BODY]
