Leipziger Hotel - Flughafen Leipzig Halle

The location is fine. The furnishings are old and noticeably worn, the carpet in the room is dirty, the room is very dark, and the mattress is extremely sagging.

The location is great, close to the airport, and there’s an Asian restaurant on site. Nothing else could be criticized.

“Unzumutbar”

The best part was the location, close to the workplace. The hotel and rooms are rundown, not fit for a hotel, everything needs a full renovation, it’s extremely noisy, there was no safe as advertised, and to top it off I was first handed a room key for a room that hadn’t been cleaned and whose bed wasn’t freshly made. I was satisfied only when the week was over… the whole hotel felt very unprofessional, the very young staff were bored sitting together in the evening because they had no guests in the restaurant and very few house guests… well, every guest only books once.

The hotel’s top floor has a restaurant and bar, and you can smoke on the balcony seats. After enjoying food and drinks you can go straight to bed, which is very convenient. The portions were large and the food was delicious. Next to the hotel is a gas station, so refueling is easy when you travel by car. It’s normal in Germany that there is no fridge or slippers. The bed width is relatively narrow, so tall people should be careful. I also don’t like dry rooms, so I opened the window a bit and heard the airplane engine noise from around 4 am nonstop (I wasn’t aware that it was so close to the airport).
