l'accueil est très sympathique le bâtiment très ancien est vraiment authentique, mais les équipements ne sont pas récents escalier abrupt, salle de bain commune le séjour reste toutefois très agréable le petit déjeuner et et le dîner sont excellents, avec des produits locaux et très frais. accès à l'étage par escalier trop abrupt

Very nice historic ryokan, friendly and helpful staff, genuine atmosphere and an awesome private onsen. Kaiseki meals are far from top level, but could be nice for first‑timers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel room is spacious and very clean, exactly as described and shown in the photos. The staff are all very polite, service‑mindful and friendly. The check‑in and check‑out process was efficient and they help with luggage. The hotel has a truly authentic Japanese style. We also liked the in‑house hot‑spring bath. The best part of our stay were the two dinners, which were really nice, authentic Japanese foods with many different specialties served in a real Japanese way. Even though I’ve visited Japan many times staying in large hotels, this is the first time I experienced authentic Japanese hospitality. Highly recommended. The only tiny problem we had was the low door frames in the room and the steep wooden stairs in the house. It’s a Japanese‑style house, so it isn’t built for tall European people.

The experience was absolutely wonderful: the outdoor private onsen felt like heaven, and both dinner and breakfast were world‑class. The staff were kind, attentive, and helpful even though I don’t speak any Japanese, making the stay feel special in a beautiful part of Nara. Everything was perfect.
