The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were able to park our bikes safely in a garage. The house feels old, the furniture and linens are worn, the towels don’t smell good, but it looks like the property is up for sale.

The breakfast was excellent with many tasty homemade treats, and the couple running the place were extremely kind, fulfilling every reasonable request instantly and offering plenty of tips.

The welcome and the pool were great, but there were no fruit options at breakfast.

The welcome was warm and the hotel offered a place to store and charge bikes; the bathroom and room were lovely. However, there was no pillow for the bed.
