“Great stay & Authentic village”

The hotel sits in the heart of Pingshan Village, making it a great walking base. The village feels authentic and is much less crowded than nearby places like Hongcun and Xidi. The staff were attentive, and the breakfast was especially good. The house is beautifully decorated with a mix of Western and Chinese styles, and the room was comfortable. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Unfortunately, there is no terrace or garden for outdoor breakfast; a table or two at the entrance would be perfect.

Everything about this tucked‑away hotel in Ping Shan village was spot on – from the vintage décor to the flawless service and delicious food. After parking where they’d instructed, a staff member whisked our luggage inside and a steward led us along the old‑village lane to our spacious room, even upgrading us for free because we were traveling with elders and kids; the price stayed reasonable despite the holiday season.

The staff and owners really went the extra mile, sorting out tours of nearby villages and pointing us toward the best spots to explore. Their personal recommendations made the whole trip feel custom‑made, and we liked it so much we booked an extra night. Honestly, I can’t think of a single thing that bothered us.
