The view from the bath, the meals, and the staff’s friendliness were all great. The bath offered a true ocean view, the best spot to slowly watch the sea and Awajima. Because the view was so good, there was no open-air bath, but that was fine. The bath itself warmed me from the core, and I slept soundly at night. The food was a little generous but just enough to satisfy. The menu was gentle on the body and I was pleased. The staff were all kind and polite, yet they spoke casually, letting me relax. I wanted to escape the busy everyday life, so the quiet, uncluttered atmosphere was very soothing. The building itself is aging, but that’s probably inevitable by the sea. When a child saw the building, the first reaction was “scary~”. Important signs were kept clean, and it seemed the focus was more on food and cleaning than on the building. In the end, the kids enjoyed it, and I didn’t mind it, so I had fun. Those who care only about the building’s appearance might find staying difficult.
