The rooms were compact but cozy, and the tea-making facility was a nice touch. There was a faint, slightly fusty odor in the rooms and hallway. Marco’s restaurant served decent food, but it didn’t live up to the Marco Pierre White name.

The bed felt a bit old and soft, not quite matching Premier Inn’s standards. A knocking sound came from the plug hole, and the windows were drafty because they wouldn’t close properly.
