“A splendid hostel”

The staff were relaxed, friendly and helpful. Replenishing water was easy. The place was quiet, clean, functional, with A/C, blackout blinds and handy shelving. The location was good – easy to find, close to restaurants and a supermarket, not too far from attractions. The vibe was nice. The room was enclosed, but that didn’t bother me. Given the price and the type of accommodation, I highly recommend this hostel. The door lock worked but didn’t feel sturdy.

A perfect stopover for a Bangkok layover (and generally a great hostel/guesthouse for a first‑time, 3‑5 day stay). I’ve stayed here several times over the past four years, usually 1‑2 nights between flights, and it’s always solid. Friendly, professional staff, a good location with excellent food and nightlife nearby, a relatively quiet neighborhood that’s still within walking distance of the chaotic Khao San if that’s your thing, and many main sights are easy to reach from here, so all basics are covered. I never booked a dorm in my 5‑6 visits, but I can vouch for the private rooms – they’re good value. I’d book a room again right away if I ever return to Bangkok.

I really liked this part of town, a short walk from the busier Khao San area and a small but nice café zone mixed with real Bangkok local life. The room was basic but fine. It’s reasonably priced, though the room is a bit basic, has no view or balcony, so it feels a bit closed in. The front café wasn’t really used by anyone, so there was no vibe.

The location was great, right next to a 7‑Eleven, and for the price it was fantastic. The room had no window and the bathroom flooded.
