“Needs updating worn down”

The place was rough and dirty; the hallway walls had worm damage, making it a very unpleasant experience.

The room itself was nice, but the TV had a broken line; the view outside the room was only mediocre, and if we had judged solely by the photo we probably wouldn’t have chosen it.

“Seriously overpriced.”

The place was in a bad state: the towel rack was falling off, curtains were ripped, the bed lamp was broken, and the bathroom fan was filthy. The bathroom door was hard to open.

“This is about the lowest standard of hotel I would stay at, basically just OK. Not great.”

The room was old but acceptable. However, the building needed repairs, the carpets were worn, stairways were dirty, and the TV didn't work. For $50 a night it might have been fine, but at $180 I expected better.

“Awful place - avoid at all costs.”

Nothing was good – it was terrible. The entire hotel was in awful condition: stained sheets, damp everywhere in the bedroom, no security lock on the door, and walls covered in marks and dirt. I can't imagine what lives in those mattresses. Never again.
