Facilities and staff were excellent; nothing was lacking.

The young lady at the Front Desk was extremely pleasant during checkout, and the night‑time security guard was firm yet fair, keeping a steady watch from late night into the early morning. However, the hotel sits on the outskirts of Tampa’s city limits, in a very industrial and somewhat depressing area.

There was a horrible musty smell in all three rooms I checked out. Roaches were present, lights didn’t work, water leaked from the floor, and the air conditioning was not functioning. It was so bad that I left four days early and stayed at a friend’s place.
