I liked how polite the staff were even when we asked them to do many things at once; the kids’ slides and a romantic swing for two were great, and the food service was also good, but the location felt a bit scuffed.

The hotel was compact with open views and all the facilities for a comfortable stay; our family suite was spacious, tastefully furnished with clean bedding and a modern washroom with plenty of hot water, but the approach road was unpaved and the food could have been less oily.

This offbeat spot is far from Ramnagar centre's bustle, has only 7-8 rooms so it's very quiet, and if you like birding you can stroll in the morning; I stayed for 5 nights.
