The Coach House

The value is incredible. The room was spotless and organized. Everything functioned properly, and the smart lock was secure and pleasant. They included two generous breakfasts in the morning; I had a full English while my wife had a vegetarian option. The location is great and I’ll be back.

“The Coach House provided us with a safe comfortable place to overnight”

The breakfast room feels welcoming and the staff are friendly. The outside area looks a little worn.

“Nice place, shame about the poor customer service !”

The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was fine. The bed was very cozy. It’s a bit off‑putting that the site has a fire‑damaged building and there’s no clear signage for arrival directions. It feels like the staff aren’t truly interested in helping guests; they seem more focused on the money. I was frustrated when the phone hung up during a call, and I was disappointed they didn’t offer me anything for breakfast even though I paid for it and arrived early. It seems they can’t be bothered. My overall rating is closer to 6/10.

The manager, Sheeva, was very helpful, carried our luggage up and down the stairs, and always asked if there was anything else he could do. Breakfast was excellent and we could have had whatever we wanted. On the last night, other guests caused the upstairs sockets to fuse, so we couldn’t boil water, charge phones, or watch TV. Sheeva couldn’t get an electrician until after the weekend, apologized, provided a pot of hot water, and told us to charge phones downstairs.
