“Amazing staff. Great place to stay for a short break.”
The manager acted like a hero, quickly and professionally handling common island issues such as power cuts and staff shortages, constantly checking in with us, offering great island tips, and reassuring us that he wouldn’t stop until problems were fixed; we could rent a moped on site or get a taxi arranged within minutes, and he even arranged free pick‑up from Little Cron dock. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bed huge, hot water was available in the shower (not always guaranteed on remote islands), and the air‑con worked consistently. The garden was a lovely place to relax, breakfast was good and the attached restaurant had an extensive evening menu. In low season many nearby restaurants and cafés were closed, so we felt a bit trapped by the pricey restaurant; staff emergencies caused us to miss one breakfast and one night the restaurant was closed, which could have left us stranded if we hadn’t had other plans. The pre‑arrival messages said they accepted PayPal, but that wasn’t true at check‑in, so we had to use more cash than we wanted; fortunately island places accepted cards, so it wasn’t a huge issue, but the check‑in info should be updated. The pool is smaller and rougher than the pictures suggest, and the garden could use a few more loungers so everyone has a seat.
