Mrs. Priyangi and Mr. Mayura were very kind and welcoming. Their beautiful garden and the room itself were lovely and had everything you need. The bathroom was also very clean and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious, and Randy, Tessy and Phoebe—three adorable dogs—were a real bonus. Mayura’s tips on places to visit in Kandy were helpful.

“A true home away from home”

Mrs. ​Priyangi and Mr. Mayura are a delightful, well-versed couple who made us feel welcome from the start. Their home is artistic, and they play music from their record collection. ​The room was spotless and had everything we needed: fan, comfy bed, thin pillows, toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, shower screen. The WiFi was super stable, a rare thing in Sri Lanka. We loved their garden with the fish and their lovely dogs. ​They were so accommodating with food, serving us a Sri Lankan breakfast and even preparing the fresh fruit we bought. They even helped with our laundry We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Highly recommended

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hosts are very kind people and took good care of me. The breakfast and dinner were great. The house is in a quiet green area right by the river. In the garden you can see many birds, small fish and other animals, and you can sit very nicely on the terrace. Thank you :)

What a lovely stay we had with this loving couple. We enjoyed the beautiful view over the Mahaweli river and the delicious meals. Pleasant conversations in the nice garden with the owners and good tips on how we would continue our trip. I was ill during our stay and was taken care of very well. We hope to come back in a few years.
