The location and staff were great, with Mac serving breakfast in the morning—lovely and very helpful. The rooms could use a bit of a refresh.

The location was excellent, and the breakfast choice was very good; we opted for the full English, which was absolutely delicious.

“Lovely couple of days away”

The location was perfect, though the rooms could use a little sprucing up. Breakfast staff was a chap who was so friendly and welcoming, loved chatting to him; food was nice. Drink prices were hit and miss—£8 and a few pence for a large white wine and soda is nearly double the price of a pub just across the road, so I only had one drink each night in the hotel. We learned that one of the other hotels across the road offered a 15% discount on food and drink if you were stopping there, so perhaps they could offer a similar discount if staying here.

Nice room and great location. A bit dated but fine for me

The place was decent, though it could use a little sprucing up, and the bed turned out to be incredibly cozy.
