The owners were attentive, the location was great, and the value for money was solid. Nothing to complain about.

Fernando, the very friendly owner who also speaks English, made communication a breeze if your Spanish isn’t strong enough. The spot sits close to Plaza de Armas (minutes away), is quiet, clean with fresh linens, and bathrooms are kept tidy with warm shower water. At the end of my stay I even received a free breakfast, and there’s a patio for meals. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again if I ever return to Huaraz. The only tweak I’d suggest is adding a few wall hooks in the shared rooms to hang towels or clothes.

The hostel was great, the owners were welcoming and helped us with day hikes and stashing our bags while we trekked for several days. The rooms were roomy with comfy beds.

“Clean room, good breakfast, friendly management, comfy bed, good location.”

The bed was comfortable, the room was a nice bright space with a window looking over a park on the other side of the road. Breakfast featured fresh bread, jam, fruit, coffee, and juice. It’s a very nice place, the staff are super friendly, the kitchen is available for use and the fridge works, and the internet is excellent. Occasionally the park across the road gets a bit noisy in the evenings, but it’s interesting to see all the different activities happening there all the time.

The service and treatment are good. Nobody came to serve me breakfast.
