I stayed in a very cozy place, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the room was clean and welcoming with a recent renovation and all-new furnishings. However, I had no coverage and had to go down to the port twice, which caused me to get lost! One more anecdote: I like to curve, it doesn’t bother me much, only the fatigue I was carrying.

The location was great and the service was excellent. We ate there almost every day during our stay for convenience and we loved it. I would definitely return.

The staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable. The bathroom smelled like sewage as soon as I arrived; even when I closed the door the odor seeped into the room. They offered no fix, just said there were no other rooms, and I almost left. The hand soap container was empty, and there was no toilet paper, so I had to ask for it—this isn’t acceptable for a room that’s supposed to be ready.

The place is quiet and secluded, ideal for escaping city noise and stress, surrounded by pristine nature where you might spot a roe deer or a squirrel on the road and watch them up close. I’d only recommend it to people who want to disconnect from the city or enjoy hiking in the mountains or hills. The hotel is in the small village of Griegos, where you feel the tranquility, with rooms of decent size and renovated. The same aspects that are advantages become disadvantages: few gas stations, few shops and services in the village or surroundings. It’s a stark change from the comforts of any medium‑sized town or city nearby. Regarding the hostel, we felt the food options were limited. The portions were good and the prices are not cheap anywhere, especially in such remote places. The bed and housekeeping were done every two days (on one hand I liked that, more eco‑friendly, on the other it’s not normal or usual, no one told us, there’s only a sign behind the room door).
