On the plus side, the room and bed were really comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. However, we were woken up by a foreign guest who was being really loud in the bathroom, complaining about the size of the tub and making a general nuisance of themselves. It was really off-putting and made it hard for us to relax.

The only thing I can say is that they don't have a family bath, which was a bit of a letdown for us.

We were really impressed with the size of our room - it was way bigger than we expected, and the private bath was a real bonus. The evening meal was a highlight, with a great selection of food and drinks to choose from. And the breakfast bento was just the right size and tasted amazing.

I was really happy to see a drink bar and beer selection, and the hot spring was great. However, the main building looked brand new and was spotless, which made the older annex building with its outdated decor and musty hallways and elevators feel a bit out of place.
