The stay was fantastic; Stephanie and Andrew were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was freshly cooked to order and a good choice, and I always stay here when in Looe, just on the edge of town with great views – I would recommend it.

We could not fault the breakfast, which offered a nice selection of choices and Andrew was very willing to modify them to personal taste, all prepared with top‑quality ingredients; the location was beautiful overlooking the river and close to the railway station, and we spoke to several other guests who had been staying at the Dolphin Guest House for years, which speaks for itself.

Looe ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge entlang der Küste. Der Strand ist weich und sandig aber klein und direkt am Hafen gelegen. Doch es lohnt sich, allein für eine stilvolle Beherbergung in einem viktorianischen Haus nach Looe zu kommen. Stefanie und Andrew sind Gastgeber, denen das Wohlbefinden ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Jedes Detail in den Zimmern ist mit Geschmack und Liebe gestaltet. Es gibt auch einen schönen Aufenthaltsraum mit Blick über den Looe River. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet und wer es nicht traditionell englisch mag, hat vegetarische und kontinentale Varianten zur Auswahl
