Chiangmai Lanna & Modern Loft Hotel

I was impressed by the hotel's laundry service and the excellent shower with a rain showerhead. However, I found it frustrating to have to search for the staff at the front desk or call them to get assistance.

“Très moyen”

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The calm atmosphere and comfortable beds, along with the laundry service, were definite positives. However, I was quite disappointed with the room, which was very humid and lacked proper ventilation since not all windows could be opened, leaving our belongings damp and a noticeable musty smell. Additionally, the room was dark, with two non-functional lights, and there were many mosquitoes upon our arrival, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning.

I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and the reasonable price of this hotel. However, I found the location to be somewhat inconvenient, especially when trying to get to the old city without a bike. While it's manageable with a bike, it's not ideal for those who prefer to walk or use public transportation.

My stay here had its ups and downs. On the plus side, the hotel was clean, spacious, and the staff was friendly. However, I struggled with communication since the staff didn't speak any English, making it hard to get my point across. It was also a bit of a challenge being so far from the city center, although we were aware of this beforehand.

“Goed”

The friendliness of the personnel was truly a highlight of my stay. Unfortunately, I didn't have any other experiences to compare or contrast with, as there were no other notable aspects to my visit.
