The cleanliness and organization are solid, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. The rooms feel cramped for someone as tall as me.

It’s a short walk from Kyoto Station, still within walking distance. If you have a lot of luggage, a taxi might be better; it’s not far, so the fare won’t be too high. For multiple nights, the front desk can hand out extra towels. The hotel is in a residential area and quite quiet, but you can hear people talking in the hallway and sometimes noises from adjacent rooms, so the building’s sound insulation isn’t great.
