Everything was fantastic, including the food, though the Pacific restaurant’s dishes were way too expensive. The beverages and food at the Pacific weren’t great value for money.

The private island was fabulous with great hiking trails, tennis courts, a warm kid‑friendly pool, excellent breakfast, a kids’ club, and an Italian restaurant; the best part was honestly the boat transfer. It’s insanely expensive, the staff could have had a better attitude, some employees were pretty rude or uninterested, no one answered the phone, ice to the room took 45 minutes to arrive, there were a lot of cockroaches in our room, and all the restaurants were fully booked, so you have to plan ahead exactly what and when you want to eat—definitely not very relaxing.

“A perfect getaway for a long weekend”

The grounds and pools are beautiful. I just wish the main pool was heated; it was a fraction of a degree cold, while the smaller pools were heated and great when it’s windy.
