“Great location for the beach!”

I was blown away by how quiet the hotel was, considering it's right on the main road. The real surprise, though, was the Blue Flag Beach – we were literally the only ones there, and it's honestly one of the best beaches I've swum at in the past seven weeks of traveling between Goa and Kochi. The restaurant downstairs was also a highlight, serving up some seriously tasty food – the chicken tikka and dal dry are absolute must-tries.

I'm not sure what I was expecting from this place, but it definitely wasn't a blast from the past. The hotel's old-style charm is a bit of a double-edged sword - on the one hand, it's got a certain nostalgic appeal that's hard to deny. On the other hand, it feels like they've been stuck in time for decades, with outdated decor and a general air of neglect. It's not exactly the most welcoming place, but I suppose it's a decent option if you're on a tight budget and don't mind roughing it.

The hotel's location is one of its strongest points - it's right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around. The food here is also top-notch, with a great selection of dishes to suit all tastes. However, my stay was marred by some cleanliness issues - the room was spotless when I first arrived, but I noticed a few stains on the carpet and some dust on the furniture over the course of my stay. Still, the friendly staff and good food made up for the minor drawbacks.

“Great, worth every rupee”

I had a really mixed experience at this place. The hosts were absolutely fantastic - they went out of their way to help me with anything I needed, and the location was perfect if you're traveling by car. It's right on the road, so it's super convenient. But, there was this one weird moment in the bathroom when I saw a spider killing a bee - it was pretty disturbing, to be honest.
