I stayed at Pensiunea Sânzâiene in Strâmtura and everything was perfect: warm hosts, quiet surroundings, excellent lodging conditions, and a genuinely Maramureș atmosphere. The food was amazing—traditional dishes made with love from homegrown ingredients, giving that old‑time authentic taste. Thanks to the hosts for their hospitality, warmth, and all the lovely moments! We leave with a full heart and the desire to return. ❤️🌿 Pensiunea Sânzâiene – Strâmtura, Maramureș. A place where you truly feel at home! 🏡❤️ RECOMAND!!!

Everything was absolutely perfect. After three years we came back to this beautiful place because we had such a wonderful memory. It is the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Romania. Zacarías is charming; we dined with him and he prepared a delicious homemade meal using garden produce, and we laughed, talked, and listened to local music. The place leaves you speechless with its scenery, tranquility, and sunsets. We’ll definitely return… It has a charm that reconnects you with life’s simplicity. I just wish I had stayed longer.
