Everything was spotless, the staff were very friendly, and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the lack of an elevator.

“Muy bien. Mejor de lo que esperabamos.”

The staff were very helpful. We were headed to Hita for the eclipse and they gave us all the explanations needed to get there without any hassle. The room was as expected and very good. The hostel’s décor caught our eye with carefully chosen antiques, and the collection of siphons reminded us of old good times. Breakfast was fine. The only issue was the lack of an elevator.

“Decent place with a homely feel”

The location works well and parking is convenient. The staff are brilliant, and the place feels like a family business; Julian is very attentive and thoughtful. I had expected an outstanding breakfast based on the reviews, but it was a bit disappointing, mostly pre‑made, pre‑packaged items (mostly jams), with only some freshly toasted bread and brewed coffee; I would have liked fresh eggs on demand, though I understand the family‑run operation can get overwhelmed. The sound insulation was somewhat lacking; I tried to nap in the afternoon after a tiring journey and the hallway/other rooms were quite noisy, but at night it wasn’t a problem.
