The location was convenient, but the room left something to be desired.

The staff were helpful, and the two hotels, though outside the village center, suited us perfectly. However, the service staff were unfriendly on the first day, and as the evening wound down they became more abrupt, leaving us with a less than positive impression to take home.

The experience was 10 out of 10: a charming lakefront hotel with easy station access. Our room, a lovely traditional Swiss chalet, added to the holiday feel. We docked two stars for the hotel’s refusal to lend us cutlery and the extra 2 francs charged for disposable ones—an unnecessary sting for a place at this price point.
