“Poca empatía”
The location was fine. We had a flight delay that prevented us from arriving before 00:00. As soon as we landed we informed the accommodation that we would be 20 minutes late according to Google Maps, and they said that if we didn't arrive before 00:00 we couldn't check in because they wouldn't wait. We had a reservation for 5 nights, so we asked if there was a way to allow us entry somehow even though they wouldn't wait, and we would do the check‑in as soon as we woke up, but they said they would not allow entry without checking in and that we would have to find another hotel for that night and lose the money, all because we couldn't wait 20 minutes or get entry by another means, which was beyond our control. Thank you for helping us call another hotel, which, like this one, closed check‑in at 00:00, and after explaining the situation they said there was no problem and gave us instructions for entry, so we could check‑in and pay the next morning and not have to sleep in the car, which the owner of this hotel didn't care about. The next morning when we finally got into the hotel the room smelled like a closed space and was quite old and cold – it was already cold in the Dolomites at night. The next day, when we returned to the hotel in the late afternoon, we saw that they had entered to clean and left the window open almost all day, so it was very cold in the room, and the following morning we decided we preferred them not to enter and hung a no‑disturb sign before leaving, which they ignored, and when we came back they had entered again and the windows were open again. In short, they don't care about guests. I wouldn't return.
