The hotel’s location was great, but the staff were unusually grumpy and the first room smelled of damp. When we asked for a change they made it difficult, then told us breakfast was 8‑10 am, only to knock on our door at 7:50 and push us out. The breakfast was cold—eggs like ice—and we left without eating, making it the worst experience I’ve had, especially since the meat they served felt off for us Turkish guests.

The hotel sits right on the lake with a restaurant next door, and the bed was comfortable enough to sleep well in the spacious room. Breakfast was decent too. Unfortunately the bathroom was not properly cleaned and the stovetop was both dirty and non‑functional, which put a damper on an otherwise pleasant stay.

Our host was incredibly warm and flexible, adjusting everything when our itinerary shifted at the last minute. Breakfast was delicious and served at times that fit our day's plans. The property sits in a peaceful corner while still being right in the bustling heart of Shiroka.

The room was clean, comfortable and right in the middle of town, and there was free parking in the garden plus cheap public spots nearby. Though the space was modest, the layout made the most of every inch. Overall a solid base for exploring the area.
