The room was beautifully furnished with taste, but the Wi‑Fi connection was lacking.

The location was great, yet the surroundings of the hotel were unclean and poorly maintained.

The room was roomy, very clean, with a view of the Sancy. The layout is well designed and clear, and the bed is very comfortable. We dined at the restaurant table; the meals were hearty, featuring local products (special mention for the snails, though the dish was a bit salty from the cheese). The setting at the foot of the Sancy is majestic, perfect for a stopover (don't miss the Col de la Croix Saint Robert just above). The guide of activities in the Sancy massif is excellent and invites a return.

The welcome was warm, the staff attentive and very helpful, and the room quality was high; the hotel restaurant was excellent with a good, affordable wine list, and the breakfasts were also superb – nothing to note otherwise.
