“Amazing little place to rest in”
The staff were incredibly welcoming, they even drove us from the trailhead and brought us back! The room was spotless and very comfortable.
The host was kind and friendly; she picked us up after day one on the Kumano kodo, took us to a grocery store for supplies, and brought us back the next morning to start the hike again. The guesthouse was lovely, spacious, clean, and quiet, and the swimming hole was just a short walk away—an amazing experience!

A wonderful retreat after hiking the Kumano Kodo. The quiet location in the middle of nature instantly creates a special atmosphere. Everything is very clean, new, and tastefully furnished. You can feel the effort put into the place. The food was superb and definitely one of the highlights of my stay. If you’re looking for peace, recovery, and genuine picturesque ambience, this is the right spot. Nothing to criticize.
