The room was amazing, but it wasn’t quite what I expected.

It felt like a love hotel, but it was clean and looked nice, and the rental options were plentiful. The shower was a bit confusing – you have to twist the knob next to the hot‑water outlet to get water, and on the first day only scalding water came out, so I struggled to get a tolerable temperature.

The room was surprisingly spacious for Japan, which is quite rare, and the ladies were very kind upon arrival. The breakfast was very skimpy, so we had to buy food from nearby shops.
