“not worth the price, location and pool best thing about it”

facilities are beautiful (pool and garden), location is great. 1. hot tub is not actually hot - misleading 2. we had a balcony with no furniture to enjoy it, we asked 2 times and staff acknowledged the request but never did anything about it or told us why it was not possible 3. breakfast needs more options and signage to tell us what each item is, ideally one more hour 4. we had to ask for our room to be cleaned instead of hotel being proactive about it especially when sign is on door to enter and clean. after asking it would be done by 5 pm 5. pool chairs are stained and dirty

The hotel is genuinely beautiful and sits in a central spot. It's a shame there's no gym. The staff are exceptionally friendly. The room, however, was far from clean. For what we paid—four people sharing two garden rooms—we expected a lot more. It's incomprehensible that the hotel didn't provide tap water: if you pay over 400 euros a night, you should at least get a bottle of water that costs half a euro here?!

“Ótima!”

The place is pleasant, service flawless! But I feel the breakfast needs more organization; many times items like bread were missing. Also there's no designated smoking area.

“Decepção. Nao vale o preco”

The facilities are good and the location is fine. Being a boutique hotel, the staff are friendly but not as helpful as one would expect for the price paid. We asked for a 2‑hour late check‑out and were charged half a day’s rate. When we ordered lunch, the meat was spoiled, so we abandoned the meal and ate at Vila. Nelma, the manager who closed our bill, didn’t even ask if we were satisfied and was quite rude. To top it off, I forgot my bikini and asked them to mail it to me; they said it would be a courtesy. Then they sent it via Sedex (the most expensive option) without asking how I wanted it shipped, removed the courtesy note, and charged me for the delivery 🤡

The hotel’s facilities are gorgeous. The fourth room was spacious and clean, with a nice hammock on the balcony, and the heated pool is a treat. Everyone on staff is very kind and helpful, and the location is superb—close to the city center and the beach. We enjoyed the natural pools at Praia do Lord and walked from the hotel to the beach every morning.
