“Won’t be staying there again”

The pool was wonderful, but the street was very loud and the breakfast was mediocre.

“Disappointing. I was so looking forward to a respite from walking the Camino. But alas..”

It’s conveniently near restaurants, but the building isn’t in great repair: bathroom tiles are disheveled, the shower drain doesn’t work, and there are steep drops from the bedroom floor toward the windows—caution tape is posted! The food is typical, the wait staff aren’t very friendly, the spa treatment is a joke, and the lifeguard at the thermal pool never looked up from his laptop during the hour I was there.

“comfortable enough and a conveniwnt location but nit as posh as expected”

The thermal pool, a room overlooking the river, and robes available on the property were great, but the upsell of the thermal circuit was just access to a bubbling pool in a sterile setting, not the serene spa experience I imagined. If you’re on the Camino and need to leave early, remember breakfast doesn’t start until 8 am, so don’t pay for it with your room if you plan to depart sooner.
