The staff were wonderful, the room spacious and comfy, breakfast tasty, and the Midtown East spot was super convenient with shopping, dining, and a subway stop to Grand Central. It’s an older hotel but kept well‑maintained and updated while still feeling gracious and traditional.

The Manhattan location was excellent. Everyone on staff was warm, friendly, and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast outdid my expectations with a wide range of tasty options. I even received a free room upgrade. The room had some dust.

The place scored high on location, cleanliness, and staff. It was missing an electric jug and a mini‑fridge, but when I asked for them they were brought in (the ice‑cream shop was tiny).

I have stayed at The Lexington before and based on that experience, I went back for another trip. My request for a room on a high floor was granted, but the room was significantly smaller than the first time I stayed. A little tight for two people for 3 nights. There was some dust at the top of the showers and some mold on the AC vent, but otherwise the room, towels, linens were clean. The hotel is well appointed with a bar, fitness room, mezzanine and restaurant. In addition, it is close to subways and restaurants as well as Grand Central Station. The location is great, but the bar’s prices are extremely high for New York City.
