The studio was clean, but the address was hard to locate, the building entrance smelled strongly of industrial chemicals, and the apartment on the top floor was the only spot free of that odor, earning me an 8.0/10.

The location’s quietness was appreciated because it’s in a secluded spot; the room was very clean, roomy, with plenty of towels, a comfortable bed, a large guarded parking lot, and staff were available, though communication was always by phone and never in person. We had our own car, so we could move around freely and return at any time thanks to key and remote access to the entrance gates. The balcony offered a beautiful view of Foggia’s countryside, but it was cloudy throughout our stay, so we couldn’t fully enjoy the rural scenery. Heating was optimal with a bathroom water heater and a room heat pump. The breakfast was the weak point: only two packaged snacks and packaged jam, and I expected something fresh like croissants or pastries, especially since the nearest bar for croissants is about 3.5 km away. Another issue was the building’s location: while it provides peace and quiet, it also isolates you completely from the city because it’s in a very peripheral rural area. A note: put a bedside lamp near the nightstand so guests can light up before bed and then turn it off, instead of having to switch the main light near the door and then navigate in complete darkness. Also, the TV should be placed in front of the bed rather than beside it, so guests can watch while lying down.
