The doors were coded, which was handy, and the spot is close to the train station—easy to get to. But they never mentioned the separate check‑in process in the email from the booking site, so I had to write to the hotel myself to confirm. Breakfast was a bit on the small side; a free glass of orange juice would have been nice.
Centrally located in Linz, the main square is a short walk away and they offer vegan breakfast options. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and my booked room was already taken—no one could figure it out. Eventually I got a different room, but the confusion was frustrating.
“Weak dissatisfied would not recommend”
It’s cheap, but the room didn’t have the garden view they promised. Check‑in was sketchy, and breakfast started at 8 am, so I missed it. A lot of the advertising turned out to be false.
“Am liebsten würde ich mein Geld zurück verlangen , Reinfall”
The place is in a solid spot, but the check‑in was a mess and the door codes they sent didn’t work. The room was sweltering with no AC or fan. To top it off, there was a party in the adjacent room from 2 am to 7 am—loud talking in Arabic and no regard for anyone else.
“You Get What You Pay For”
For the price, the room was fine and the location is decent—just a 25‑minute walk into town. The staff were friendly, but the building, especially the hallway, looks like it needs a serious renovation. It’s not very inviting, yet for a two‑night stay it’s still tolerable.
