The whole house felt meticulously organized down to the smallest detail. After staying at four guesthouses on my round of Shikoku, this was clearly the cleanest. The common area is full of plushies and figurines of Mario and Gundam, and the light‑up Teresa with a motion sensor is a charming touch when you use the toilet at night. The owner, an experienced traveler, was helpful with travel information. The check‑in time is a bit late at 17:00, so it might be good to bring an idea for passing time in Tosa‑Shimizu City. I enjoyed a traditional Japanese bath at the public bathhouse Asahi‑yu. The kitchen is not available, but the owner cooks curry for us, which is worth eating.
