The Yachting Hotel Mistral in Sirmione is situated directly on Lake Garda, a 5-minute walk from Terme Virgilio thermal baths. The hotel offers free parking and a private dock. Rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, LCD TVs, and balconies or patios. Guests can enjoy the panoramic swimming pool, gym with sauna and hot tub, and regional cuisine at the on-site restaurant.

The location right on the lake is perfect. The pool is very nice, with adjacent lawn and sun loungers. The staff were always very attentive during breakfast. The downside is that the rough tile seams in the showers are unfortunately covered in black mold.

The room was spacious with excellent bedding and a small terrace offering a nice lake view if you lean in a bit. The initial welcome was warm and the breakfast was hearty. However, the air conditioning was overworked in the fall, and the bathroom could use a refresh.

The location was great – right next to the lake. The only downside was that they gave us bikes so we could easily get to the peninsula and castle.
