We were sent away after receiving a booking confirmation, supposedly because the provider listed a Bolivian account for a 50 % deposit that doesn’t work from Germany, and neither credit card nor PayPal were accepted. They then offered us a different deal outside Bolivia, which we found acceptable. The provider’s recommendation of Hotel Romandia in the same town was good, but it was fully booked. I have no further comments.

The hotel boasts a beautiful garden with a swimming pool, situated in one of Bolivia’s most scenic areas, though it’s in a RED ZONE so stay alert. Plenty of excellent restaurants are within walking distance in the village, but the area does carry some risk, yet no other tourists were an issue.

It’s located outside the town center. The breakfast isn’t worth the price, and the food offered is also disappointing. The cost is too high compared to other accommodations, so after a night I looked for something nicer.
